If you don’t like a light near your eyes at night time, you can change the settings so that the LED display only comes on if you tap the clock or your bedside table.  It will show you the time, the date, the temperature, and then switch off again.  Or you can choose to have the LED display permanently on.

With a touch control snooze.  To switch off the alarm, simply flip the clock in any direction.
